Dedicated To Making Your Big Day Beautiful

Congratulations on your  engagement!

Your wedding day is one of the most important days of your life and as your wedding planner it will be one of the most important days in mine. As a wedding coordinator I will put hours, days and even months into the planning of your special day. It is my personal goal to make sure that every detail reflects your unique personality. Whether you need me to offer some advice, a small amout of planning or coordinate your whole day, I have something that will match your needs. My professional guarantee is to make your wedding day as stress free as possible and to help you fill it with moments you will remember for the rest of your life.

I am a one woman show. I do not have the fancy office or in-house vendors. By doing this, I save you alot of money. You could go to another coordinator that has everything right there in front of you, but by choosing me, I can get you a range of choices and prices. I do this because I enjoy it. I love seeing the faces of my Brides and Grooms when a job is done well and they were able to enjoy the whole thing.

You may have some questions.  These are some frequently asked questions I have come across.

    What is a wedding planner?

I am someone who is your right hand in getting every detail of your wedding in sync. Planning a wedding is a full time job. I don't make the decisions for you, I suggest ideas, give you the tools, and know every detail of your wedding.

Wouldn't it be cheaper if my mom or a friend did all the planning?

Maybe, maybe not.  I have vendors that I work with on a regular basis. I did my homework. The quality and price for services are prices only a coordinator can get. Besides, the mother of the bride has enough to deal with, without worrying about the every detail that goes into planning an event. As for a friend or another family member, they are only there to witness such a blessed event not miss the whole thing because they're too busy.

I could do it all myself, right?

Yes! It's your day after all. Part of the fun and excitement of  your wedding is all the decisions you get to make. I would never take that away from you.  You still get to choose the vendors and design, I am just there to make sure it gets done. But even if you did everything all the way up to the day of the wedding, who would get everyone lined up, cue the music, pin the boutoneers and corsages? Who's going to coordinate the reception? Who would get with the vendors when they got there? Make sure they are there? What would happen if any problems arose? Wouldn't it be great if you had someone invested in your interests, take care of the whole thing so your wedding went off without a hitch?

     Can I afford a planner?

The question is, Can you afford not to hire a coordinator. I work with you and we come up with a budget that suits you. I have alternatives and connections to make sure you get the best price. I can set you up with everything you need. Besides, don't you want everyone to enjoy this beautiful occasion?

The place I am using for my ceremony has a coordinator. Isn't that enough?

Usually those people are there to set up the site. They don't work with the vendors you choose. They make sure things are in order on their end, not yours. They will usually leave once everthing has gotten started. Who's going to make sure the rest of your day goes great?

How much experience do you have as a coordinator?

My experience is in quantity of weddings and maybe not so much in years. I got started in 2001 in Gatlingburg, TN. I have set up over 100 weddings from start to finish. I have done that and more with just wedding day of coordination or getting brides and grooms set up and on their way. I have worked with tons of vendors. When I first got started in this business, it was for fun and I made nothing on doing the wedding. It was a friend of mine getting married. I was my "gift" to her in a way. After it was said and done with I had 2 more people ask me to do their weddings. They insisted I should charge for all the work and meticulous detail I put into them. I charged what I thought was fair because it was more about the fun than it was the profit. I became a member of The Bridal Coordinators of TN in 2002.
